KLEIO AUDIO LIMITED – FIVE YEAR WARRANTY
This Warranty relates to purchases from Kleio Audio Limited (‘Kleio Audio’) made in the United Kingdom [and Eire] only and the relevant law is that of England and Wales. A purchaser’s statutory rights shall not be adversely affected by the terms and conditions of this warranty.
What is included in this Warranty?
If a Kleio Audio product proves to be defective, due to a fault in materials or workmanship, Kleio Audio will for the benefit of the consumer who purchased the product for their own use (‘the end user’) at its discretion (and subject to the terms contained herein) either adjust, repair or replace it with an equivalent product free of charge within a reasonable time.
1. Conditions to which this Warranty is subject
(a) The defect must be reported to Kleio Audio within five years of the original purchase by the end user.
(b) The report of the defect must be accompanied by proof of purchase and confirmation of the date of purchase.
(c) The purchase must have been registered with Kleio Audio within one month of the date of purchase by completing our product registration form.
(d) The end user must bear the transport costs of returning the product to Kleio Audio, but reasonable transport costs will be refunded if a product is adjusted, repaired or replaced under the terms of this Warranty.
2. What is excluded from this Warranty?
2.1 Any damage to Kleio Audio products:
(a) not caused by defects in materials or workmanship;
(b) arising due to or from normal wear and tear;
(c) caused by abnormal or unreasonable use (including repairs or alterations of products by a person other than an authorised representative of Kleio Audio);
(d) caused by accident, acts of nature, misuse, neglect or unauthorised product modification, improper installation, removal or maintenance, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
(e) repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorised by Kleio Audio.
2.2 Machine marks:
(a) Machine marks which are a result of the manufacturing process (Kleio Audio products are machined on a individual basis from solid aluminium and finished by hand. Due to the nature of the material and manual processes there is the likelihood that some machine marks may be present. Whilst every care and effort is taken to remove these as part of the finishing process, it is often impossible to remove all of these completely.
